On 14 and 21 March 2025 the conference Mente e linguaggio nel pensiero indiano ed europeo was held in Udine. Organised by the Department of Languages and Literatures, Communication, Education and Society of the University of Udine and the Società Indologica «Luigi Pio Tessitori», the conference has explored topics concerning Sanskrit language, Indo-European linguistics and the function of intellect and intuition in Indian and Western philosophical systems. The conference was attended by Giuliano Boccali, Italian Association of Sanskrit Studies, Antonio Rigopoulos, Ca' Foscari University Venice, Brunello Lotti and Angelo Variano, University of Udine, Fausto Freschi, Società Indologica «Luigi Pio Tessitori», Mario Turello, critical writer. At the end of the conference, the book The Universe of Knowledge, dedicated to the figure and work of Shiyali Ramamrita Ranganathan, was presented.
